Dio's commentary:

Ok, but why is this title so long???? @_@
This is how Decon snuck onto the cover when I barely had the room for him. >/ (But the commentary video should tell you how that went down XD). This song was the epitome of cinematic, narrative driven, soundtrack sound, with a clearly defined beginning, middle and end. The break at the end feels so EPIC. For those who have played the game Monster Hunter World, you may be familiar with the utter WALL that was Behemoth, the Final Fantasy XIV crossover even monster that turned that game into an utter slaughterfest. It introduced a move--Ecliptic Meteor--that was the bane of all hunters, a guaranteed OHKO unless you were behind a comet fragment that could easily be obliterated by the monster if you weren't careful, wiping entire parties if luck wasn't on their side. Such move were later given to late game monsters in the expansion, still carrying the fan moniker of a "ecliptic"; one endgame monster had one that was mechanically identical to Behemoth's except that it dropped from the sky like a drop of light, as the screen blurs and the sound mutes just before it touches down. Its a powerful sound design choice that really struck me, and drop at 3:48 feels exactly as an ecliptic move should upon touching down.
Now this song came out long before this phenomenon, as Behemoth came out in 2018, and we're still in 2015 when Decon drops this track, but it wasn't until I had experienced this that I could point out why this track stuck me so much. The drop, the build up, the narrative the song makes does feel like a battle, and it's by far, next to "I Wish You All the Very Best" the most cinematic track he's produced.
