The first time we came to this house, I fell in the garden and skinned my knee on the concrete. I remember crying, but I don't know if I did for sure. Funny thing, memories; all hazy and ephemeral. Much of the time we spent here is, now- 27 years in total, compressed into barely recognisable chunks that grow fainter with age. But the emotions felt in those moments remain crystal clear; the laughter, the tears, the fury, the fear. So much experienced together within the confines of these four walls that we now say goodbye to. It may not always have been perfect, it may not always have been ideal, but this place was our home. And I will miss it dearly.
