I seriously cannot stress this enough; the reason there’s only been one finished MIGHTY-MACHine song is because I find Big Beat phenomenally hard to write. This is, honestly, the farthest I’ve got into a second MM song so far, and could potentially have lead to a finished track where it not for the fact that I’d pretty much entirely run out of space for more samples. This demo doesn’t use a lot of the external samples I’d loaded in, but there were a good few (many of them longer phrases), and all of them were vital. It’s a real shame, too, because I really do love late 90s/early 2000s Big Beat music, and I’d sincerely love to write more of it. If I knew why I found it so difficult to come up with ideas for the genre, that’d help, but I’m clueless bub.

Oh yeah; as I said in the E.Q. Moodscape #12 description, it’s wild how much of the stuff I saved from this for that track. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think it was honestly for the better, though.
