This one was an instant shortlist for me, as this song has an immensely personal significance for me. Back in 2014, my father and I adopted a senior dog for our current dog Cody, whom was feeling a little lonely since a few of my family members moved out. She was a large husky-low content wolf-shepherd mix named Molly. She was beautiful, and despite going blind, she was a sweet, loving girl at the ripe age of 11. She was with us for nearly 3 blessed years, and sadly cancer took her from us in November of 2016. Decon lovingly made her a song the day she went over the rainbow bridge that she was able to listen to and enjoy. He ended up remixing it into this wonderfully bouncy and upbeat song that brings me joyous feelings of her life with us. It's serendipitous that it does share some elements of the PQ song "I Wish You All the Very Best", which is already in this collection. It's touching, and even as I write this, I get a little misty eyed thinking about my Wolf Mama. The song was a perfect tribute to her life and I was blessed to have her in it, and to have a song that commemorates her perfectly.
