Disco Adobo is an alias I’ve been planning on introducing for a while, with the aim to do funkier house stuff with it. Think stuff like Thomas Bangalter’s “Spinal Scratch”, the Machines Don’t Care track “Afro Jacker”, or anything Hervé does under the Voodoo Chilli name (for which the ‘Disco Adobo’ name is an intended reference). Much like MIGHTY-MACHine or my retired Hypnotherapist alias, though, I’m finding that genre really difficult to work with. This is one of a couple of attempts at a DA track- using salvaged samples and elements from Supermarket Sweep- but it’s the only one I got down. I do like the chord pattern, at least, so I will probably revisit them somewhere down the line.
