These are the strings over the intro of E.Q. Moodscape #12, albeit not filtered-to-hell-and-back and playing the right way around. They were written in FL Studio 12, which one of the devs of A Just Endeavor were kind enough to provide for me earlier in the year.

I’ve written a few scant couple of pieces in it using my Emergency Transmission alias, but this is the first “canon” use of it in one of my non-sketch-non-demo pieces. That can be entirely put down to the fact that FL Studio’s pattern system can get fucked because I HATE IT AND IT’S AWFUL, but I would honestly like to make more use of it in the future. For one thing, it has a good range of samples in it. For another, the plugin these were written with- Direct Wave- is, like, really nice. It does some incredibly realistic orchestral instruments, keyboard instruments, and even guitars. If nothing else, I will definitely be making use of FL Studio for the plugin alone.
