In 2007, after years of chasing the comic/manga artist dream, I decided to refocus my creative energies on composing music instead. In 2012, after having uploaded my music everywhere from zippyshare to last.fm, I decided to open up a Bandcamp page. This album is the first in a (hopefully) year-long celebration of the 10th and 5th anniversary of those dates, respectively.

I've compiled and recompiled several "old works compilations" over the years, fiddling about with different configurations and compiling criteria multiple times. Even this album was originally split between two entries, before figuring one giant album made more sense in the long run. Although it can be seen as the "sequel" to the three 2011 x 2013 albums I put out back in 2015, this is far more comprehensive; we've got 134 finished pieces, sketches/demos, and assorted musical bricker-brac from as recent as 2016 going all the way back to 2007, all from a wide variety of projects and ideas. The quality of the music varies wildly from "relatively competent" to "ambitious but lacking", but the importance of every single tune on here cannot possibly be overstated. Although almost every project on here got dropped or was reworked into something else entirely, several of the musical ideas got carried to other pieces I wrote later- you may even recognise a few melodies, basslines, or entire song concepts.

And, of course, the sentimentality backing the album is practically palpable. Contained within this album are several pieces of personal history, in jokes and references maybe only one or two people besides me will get, and far too many memories to recollect clearly. I don't even recognise the Decon Theed who made 90% of the songs on here, and the difference between the oldest pieces on here and my most recent work is night and day, but I still sincerely love all roughly 6 hours of it just the same. I wouldn't be who I am today without any of it.

Some tracks are marked with the project they were intended to be used for, although a number of tracks have been around for so long that I've honestly forgotten what projects they were written for, if they were written for anything specifically at all.
